hey.. anyone gotta sound deadning removal diy? i know u gotta use dry ice but wat else?

There are plenty of threads about this, take the dry ice and pulverize it untill it looks like snow and spread evenly over the insulation. You will hear all sorts of nasty sounding pinging and popping and stuff flying thru the air. Residual insulation needs to be scraped off ad then a good thinner/degreaser scrub down.

anyone know how much weight can be lost from this? looks like a pain in the arse.

I pulled over 30 lbs just out of the interior. I pulled close to 60 lbs off the bottom outside.
However I had to use a wire wheel and my cordless drill for the outside. It works rather well.

You can then add even more insulation for far less weight with Lizard skin.
