Floor Mat Question

When I got my EP it never had the floor mats. I'm trying to figure out what off brand is a good fit for our cars or does anyone know who has the best deal on factory floor mats?

Our Canadian stock mats only said CIVIC on them, not CIVIC SiR atleast my stock 02 mats don't and I've never seen them.

The quality of the Canadian mats are absolute garbage, the USDM spec mats blow them away.

They should fit good, my wifes 05 front mats fit really good its the back one thats a bit to big but I'm going to cut it and resew the boarder on if it turns out this rear one is the same. I will post pics when I recieve them.

i forget if it just says civc, i havnt seen my car in 5 months lol winter sux. garage is for the sled in the winter. just know i have a hole from my heal right there the mat and threw the carpet. need new ones. pics of them red ones would be great!

If you want the type-R red seat look you can always do what I did, I replaced the center inserts with red for less than 50 bucks. Its alot of work but well worth it in the end. I was going to do a DIY on it last year when I did them but just never got around to it and then forgot I didn't do it. Here are some before and after's

I just use the optional floor mats and during the winter I have one of those rubbermaid deep dish fllormats to keep the snow and salt debris off the mats and carpet.

Nothing to worry about like the toyotas have to with their floormats and DBW.........

Okay guys the mats are here, the fitment isn't spot on when you overlay the 2 sets but its close enough that they aren't all bunched up or interfering with the pedals. They fit better than the stock interiors ones I bought for my 99 civic beater. Please excuse the crappy pics its a crappy camera and my garage is so tight right now I can't get the doors open all the way. The pics look like there is a white boarder in some of the pics but its just the flash and a cheap camera.
In the last pics I overlayed the mats so you can see the differences in the shape. I couldn't test the back one because all my Intercooler pipe is piled back there.

As you can see they are very close to being exact and the small differences there is don't interfere with anything and they lay flat.

For sure man, I can't wait to get back there to meet some more ep drivers. Down here we are few and far between.
The reds are really close, but the combination of the flash and a shitty camera makes it all look a strange shade of redorange. I took another pic with my good camera, not that I know how to use it any better. This pic shows the color a bit better.

Are the stock floor mats still available through any Honda dealership parts retailer?
I ask because I can get them for cost through a friend, so if I can I would rather do that and possibly save some extra cash. Mine have holes worn in to them from over the years and my Nikes

I've always thought about having my Grandma do this. She's done upholstery her whole life. It'd be an absolute piece of cake for her! Too bad I don't talk to her much. :mrolleyes: I've been hesitating because I don't know what to do with the rear seat inserts... I wasn't feeling the direct grey-to-red insert swap and the way the red ends up wrapping around the bottom corners...

What red material did you use?
Did you do the back seat inserts too?
