How much you guys think?

So.... How much you think a shop should charge me to replace valve train and cams? REALLY DON'T WANT TO GET RIPPED... LOL

my tuner charges $300 just for cam install with valve lash adjustment, probably add another $100 to $200 on top of that for springs and retainers

Thats not too bad.... I wonder if they charge by the part or they can give a discount on the whole? I'm also needing a Clutch change... so maybe like $800 for everything?

i would just do the clutch yourself, save a whole lot of money. They might give you a discount if you buy the cams and valvetrain from them and also have them install and tune it

My old tuner gave me a discount on tuning and kpro because i did it all there, but that fuck blew my motor lol

Same with RHCP0801 on the clutch install, k-series tranny related work is a not an inexpensive job.
As for the valve train job, I think I was quoted around 400 - 500 for cam/valve train/spring/retainers/adjustments for a cams and valve train upgrade.

YEAH... I was really thinking of doing the clutch myself to save $$$... So for the head job... lol.... around $400... NOT TO SHABBY... THEN K-PRO... :-D
