which would be the better route to go for more power?

i lack low end power, i can feel the slack..
i have an aem intake..

aem + hp header

or

aem + midpipe

You should always follow the path of the airflow when you're modding. If you have an intake then the next logical step is the header. The stock exhaust is already pretty good (not counting the midpipe.)

search dyno results. --me,jsir,b18cxr,and myeverlovin all posted results with different combos... hope that helps-Joe:)

I think you'll appreciate the exhaust much more if you do the header first. I first had AEM intake (nice), then added a DC header (some gains, but not huge) then the midpipe, felt whole system opened up. Sounded great and made 1st and 2nd much meatier.

I say midpipe. The stock header isn't as restricted as the stock midpipe. Plus, you can have a midpipe made for you and installed for about 60 bucks, also think about getting a test pipe made for when you go to the track.

JSIR didn't get any major results till he had all three bolt ons on. The last thing he did however was the header.
