Radio Code

My car died today, and when I push started it, my stock deck in my 02 ep3 is asking me for a code. How am I supposed to attain this code? I'm not the original owner of the car either..

if have to call the dealer and they will give u a number to call..when u do have ur vin number ready..this happened to me when I 1st got my ep3

if you press 1+6, it'll give you a [i think two] 2 sets of numbers. write those down, call a dealer, and they should be able to get you your security code.

MBaG that didnt work, you mean 1 and 6 simultaneously? I might have to just call the dealer... this is such a drag. I just bought this car too, so I have no original ownership. I might as well just put in a deck.

the number is 1 (800) 999-1009. call them tomorrow

you have to turn the car on while holding 1 and 6
the 2 numbers will rotate back and forth.

Call the number up there ^^^ and they'll give you your code after you give them some Personal and Car info. (Name, #, Address, VIN#, Cd deck serial, and I believe they ask what kind of car you drive)

Don't worry that you just bought the car. I had only had mine for a month or 2 when I called. Just tell them there's new ownership.

check your manual, i had a card in my manual that had the code on it so i didnt have to call

exactly with this man said had to do the exact same thing but dont forget to right down the number somewhere you wont lose lol just saying cuz i had to call twice =/

Check the inside of the glove box there might be a white sticker with the radio code on there. Also check the fuse box lid under the hood sometimes the sticker is there.

Mine never brought a sticker and some one told me to check in those places ans nothing it was funny cause I was looking so hard every where under my dash-glove box..and the other day I took the radio out and the code was written on the top
