You need a 3/8 NPT tap then a 90* fitting with 3/8 NPT to 5/8 Barb fitting......all this information can be found by searching k24 swap

i swear i'm having the hardest time finding the right fittings that will fit the coolant hose. if there is a braided line with a 90* on it could someone hook up a link?:whoa:

Those fittings will work but they are in the wrong holes. They should be the opposite of what you see in the pics on a k24a2 head.

i know that, and the stock coolant hose will fit this? to be sure... im going to order them as soon as you say they're good.

As you can see in the pics the fitting isn't hooked to the coolant line but just sitting under it, I think this is because the stock hose is to thick to use that type of compession fitting. You could use that same type of fitting with the stock hose but it would have to be a 5/8 barb fitting on that end.

The oring should be included with that fitting, but you will need some thread sealant. Most people reccomend putting the threaded fitting into the block with some sort of epoxy since you only get about 3-4 threads when you tap it.

didn't get o-rings with the fittings...

did you guys have to drill the coolant passage to tap it? i don't have a 37/64 laying around.
