In adition to fixing a few little things today, i gutted my cat which actually went bad a while ago.
when the cat went, i used the defouler trick to get the CEL off and pass emissions (which in Arizona is dependent on your computer ONLY, not your tailpipe emmissions, on vehicles 96 and later)
the light went away, but it came back today when i gutted the catalytic converter.
i have the defouler in place still, so what should i do? should i run an angled defouler instead to get the sensor farther away from the exhaust gasses? or something else?
