I think u are talking a bout a harness bar..thats for ppl who have racing harness so if u dont it would be point less to have it on there in my opinion

Oh really? mmm Its cause i've seen a EP3 before with that bar but they had the stock seats, what different types of ways are there to add strut or sway bars to the ep3?

Yeah like K20power said those are harness bars. To be honest there isn't really much out there that will help. Our cars came with a pretty stiff chassis so most of that stuff wont improve much if anything. The only thing that would work is actually welding in a cage. There are some under body braces that are functional out there... mostly front ones but thats about it that really works.

After reading that thread on clubep3 I ended up picking up a Neuspeed FSTB. I was a bit curious if it was just engine bling, placebo effect or if it actually did make a difference. I ended up running it for two months, took it off for a month (changing plugs = PITA) before throwing it back on. Have had it on since then. It made a pretty big difference for me. Powering into a turn, there is noticeably less roll. Without it, the car seemed to lean toward the outside tire while the inside fender raised. While holding onto the steering wheel I'd actually have to lean my shoulder a bit into the turn to not feel awkward. With the fstb on, the inside fender seems to lower and I don't feel the chassis lean or roll at all.

^^^placebo effect, it wont change the roll of the vehicle...

Strut tower braces are very pointless, they brace some of the stiffest points on the car, and you need atleast a 3 point brace to start making a difference which doesn't exist as a bolt in product for the ep3...you're better off buying good engine mounts, those will stiffen the front end a lot more actually than any strut tower brace, that actually spans the entire engine bay at 4 points turning your engine and gearbox into even more of a bracing element...and that's not even examining the benefits mounts have on response and engine movement...

i personally have hasport motor mounts and I felt the difference when I replaced my broken engine mounts. Mos def true on the motor mounts.i don't have any bars but when I do get one ill hopefully feel something if not its alright for show. 8•)
