These 7" wide wheels have a 35mm offset. I like the looks, they are not too expensive and they weigh 13lbs according to Wheelweights.net Stock Michelin tire specs on Tire Racks' site confirm the stockers can be used on a 7" wide rim. Will using the 35mm offset damage any part of the drivetrain or screw up the steering/handling/ride?

I'd really like to go 17", but don't savor the idea of waiting till the stock tires wear out, and lowering the car 'cause-IMO-the only way to do that right is to do it with springs, shocks and a camber kit($ $).

With the 15's I won't be lowering the car. Anyway, will the ATS's work?

I don't think so, no with that offset. I think they'll stick out too much. I mean way too much. They don't make them in 17 any ways.

yes, they will fit.

I just put on a set of 7.5 inch wide wheels with a 32mm offset. They basically come right up to the fenders, but they fit. The car is not lowered, and there is NO rubbing or damage to any other components.

hopefully all this holds true after the car goes down to the ground.

but you'll be fine with a 35 offset.. no problem (and it'll look great)

Thanks DocofMind-that's just what I needed.
