Looking to buy a EP3 soon!

I have been looking into buying an EP3; I found a 02 with 87k miles for 5400$. Are there any major things I should look for mechanically in this year or just in general before I buy?

Sounds like a deal, might have cam galling though. I think mine does...

I got mine used (second owner) when it had 22k miles and now its at 88k miles never had any problems at all. Just the regular oil change every 3k miles + a Lucas fuel treatment and my car is still running like a champ. EP3 is really reliable so you should be fine

alright, so cam galling could be possible; what are some signs? I am basically just trying to figure out what I can use to bargain with, it is easier when you have information to BS with lol; I really don't feel bad doing it to dealerships
