I want a more flush look, but dont want to over do it. I dont want to run alot of camber or any at all if possible. Which if these 2 offsets would fit better. 17x8+35 or 17x8+38??
Any help is much appreciated, Thanks.

BTW, I'm dropped and have about 1 finger space between tire and fender.

What tire size do you plan to run?
And/or do you plan to have stretched tires?
And your current "1 finder gap" means nothing without knowing the current specs of the wheels and tires!
Adjustable height?

And the +35 and +38 are only differences of 3mm.
Thats only half the size of an air soft BB.

im running 17x7+45 with 225/45/17, but i was planning on running 215/45/17 on the wider wheels. Sometimes all you need is 3mm... and yes on coilovers, and fenders already rolled.

Thats true, 3mm is a lot, it was just a comparison.
You might have been slammed on stockies with tiny tires or something haha.

Depending on if you want to stretch or not
I'd try the 215s
Thats a very popular tire size in 17s
affordable, and easy to find.

and then I'd play with the height to achieve the look you want.
Other than that, most of the flush stances, and hellaflush looks are 'made' to fit
not that they are built to do it, but that they make whatever the hell they want, to fit on their car.

I personally like beefy tires, (on certain wheels)
Maybe try a 225, or 235, and work around that

Well i did talk to another member on here with 17x8+35 wheels and he was running 235/40/17 on them, and was running -5 camber in the rear i think. 235s sound sweet, but dont want to change out tires more often than i need.

Thanks for you input btw...

Yeah if you're worried about tires and camber
I'd run the less aggressive tire, and drop the car accordingly to get the look you want.
If you get a super aggressive tire, you might be forced to run camber to make it fit.
I'd say -2 to -3 is fine
after that, it's getting much more aggressive and might run into tire issues.

Oh and remember you can always add spacers.
If you get a wheel with an offset too low, you can't exactly add anything to make the offset more positive
(other than some intense modding/fabbing

if you ran 215/40 nitto neo gen tires you could rock a couple degrees of neg camber and the tires will take it well. I think it'll look sweet too. And 215/40 on an 8 wide isn't much stretch, especially with neo gens. They're a beefy tire. I have them on my 8 wides in 205/40 and they don't look stretched, especially compared to the dz101 I have in the rear in the same size.

I had a set of neo gens before, loved the tire but had pretty uneven wear. Could have been my fault though, didn't really rotate them or check my tire pressure frequently.

They were a tire designed to compensate for camber
They use a more solid compound on the inner shoulder

I THINK!
This is only what I've heard/ came up with.
I've never read from a memorable source about the camber wear
but I've read it from 1 tire distributer

But the wear was probably un even since you weren't running camber (were you?)
and of course since you didn't maintain them haha

Yup, they're rated to handle -2 with good wear

Maybe even-3 I don't remember. But I have them without any and love em

I would go with 235's. They will fit just fine with minimal camber.

Yea, camber was stock spec, but they wore bad on the inside. At least the rear did...
