oil pan

So i was under my car, and i noticed my oil pan is flaking and rusted and needs replacing. Has anyone done this? is it hard to do?

sand the rust spot prime it with self etching primer n paint with enamel

with all the salt here, i'm sure it'll just rust again. I just don't want it to get worse. Or running over something and making a hole cuz of the weak rusted metal.

if you do not want it happening again, swap in the A2 oil pump and it's cast aluminum pan or if you desire to retain the balance shafts swap in the Z3 pump and its cast pan(additional capacity and reduced clearance).
