Hey guys,

I'm looking at downsizing from 16" rotas to 15" ITR wheels for track purposes only (and to save on R compounds!).
Does anyone with an 04-05 SI know if a 15" wheel will clear the front calipers ?

15" will clear the stock brakes just fine. 225/50/15 is what I run for solo2.

Thanks for confirming.

SLiCk, exactly what size are you running ?

I'm a bit worried about running a 15 * 6" wheel with 225/45/15 tires for track days....

Depends on which tire. For instance Toyo R888s and RA1s use a 6-8" wheel while Hoosiers use 7 - 8.5".
7+ would be best for sidewall rigidity.

15x7 +45 225/50. 15x6 with a 225/45 will fit if you really wanted it to, but is really pushing it. It can really benefit with a wider wheel.

I don't know what your local tracks are like, but you may find yourself running out of gearing with such a short wheel and tire. I only use 15"s for solo2 and stick with 17"s for the track.
