Question...

Who's running Wilwoods? Kinda stumped on what offset I can run.
I would like to have +22 but don't know if I have enough clearance.

still undecided if I want 8s all around, 9s, or FWD staggered.

Anybody around CT got a rim I can borrow to see clearace issues? looking for a 17".

If you have a low offset I don't see why you'd run into caliper clearance issues. :mconfused:

I'm confused then. The term "offset" means the distance from mounting surface point to the TRUE center mounting surface point.
If say the Wilwood caliper is wider than the OEM unit ( I don't know... but I'm curious now), wouldn't that mean I would need to increase the distance between the mounting surface to the caliper?

Please explain your post.

The lower the offset the further the wheel extends from the center.. The offset wouldn't be the issue, when its that low, but the actual wheel design could bring about clearance issues. But a small spacer could rectify that.

What wheel/fitment are you looking into?

Toss up right now between these two:

RFP1: 17x9
Cr Kai: 17x9

I see now what your saying. Its the wheel design that might be an issue.

Hit up SHG_EasyE, he encountered clearance issues with 17x9 +35 rpf1s and a big brake kit, I believe it was stop tech though.

Hope I helped somewhat

Kerby, what did you end up settling on. I recently bought the wilwood kit and a set of 17x7 XXr wheels. I wanted to go back to a 16x7 or 16x8. Any advice on going down a size?

I don't believe you can run 16s, but if you can you will have to have all inner clearance specs to make sure it will fit first but I highly doubt that 99% of 16s will fit.
