Hey new guy from Bluffton SC

In process of getting my friends 2002 ep3 back up and running then i get to have it. Blown motor, bad clutch, hit 2 deer and been through a hail storm. Replaced the hood and 2 fenders already, just saving for the rest of the body work. (trying to find a new front bumper as well)

Having a new(er) k20a3 being held on for me until i can pay for it has 44k miles on it.
And then selling my old eclipse evoIII 16g big turbo for an exedy stage 1 clutch.


Will also be posting up progress pics along the way. (dont make fun of the 1 car garage!) haha

What are you paying for the a3, if you don't mind me asking

You might want to look into going straight to a 2.4 swap since most of us get bored with the "power" an a3 makes and end up swapping to the k24. Wouldn't want to swap twice!

im probably only going to pay around 800-1000$ for it. annd im very strapped for money and the guy i know with the motor is selling it to me for 400$ ( he did a k20a2 swap and didnt need it anymore) so right now im just getting it drivable to get me to work and back then i can start doing more stuff to it.

as of right now no. its sitting at my friends house. ill have some up when i get it towed over here. just wanted to join this forum to learn some and as a backup if i ever run into snags and meet some cool people. Fell in love with the ep3 when i drove his.

ya ive poked around here to find out stuff for him and now that its gonna be my car figured i would join. im really looking forward to get this car driving again so i can save to get it to stop looking like a golf ball with all the hail dents haha. buuut the friend did just get an 07 4-door si. but i still want the ep3 over that im more of a hatch guy.
