long story short i smooshed my passenger side knuckle. i found one for a good price but its a 4 lug and im a 5 lug. how easy is it to swap the spindle/hub so i can use it with the 5 lug?

It's not hard at all, but you will have to go have a professional press it out and back in.

i can press it, i just wanted to know if thats all i needed to know. im guessing you can just press it from the inside to the out?
i also noticed they have different part numbers...is there a difference?
thanks

In about 90% of cases, removing the hub will damage the bearings. The hub can be pulled easily with a hubtamer style tool. Do not forget the retainer E-ring on the inner portion of the hub.

found out that the 02-03 and 04-05 bearings AND/OR spindles are not interchangeable. the 02-03's bearings are smaller, and the OD of the spindle is also smaller, but have the same splines. That is why the part numbers are different, you can change the whole thing out for a 4/5 lug swap. but not the internals at all. i hope this helps someone else one day.
