I received my new coilover's from AMR Engineering and I am highly impressed with these.
The build quality is superior than my old RSD's. The lower spring perch is awesome on these, it is a lot easier to use then the 2 locking perch set ups. These coilover are built to order and to the specs you need, you can pick you spring rates and they will be valved for them. For the rear springs i need a higher spring rate that is offered from AMR, so i am going with another brand for all 4 springs. AMR uses Hyperco springs and are offered up to a 1450lbs/in spring, thats 25K! So pretty much everyone will be good with their springs. After i drive and race with them ill have some good feedback.

I know most ppl are interested in how low do they go so ill measure and see.

They look killer, although not much to talk about I guess until you get some results/feedback. We can talk about how pretty they are though! :mangel:

cost to much, anything over 1k for coilover is just stupid in my eyes even if they are the best ride and best of everything just not worth it to me

and that is why i said that, cause i know over 99% of ep owners mostly care about that. I see you have racelands

I actually want quality rsx spec coilovers. These are pricey, but I'm interested to hear how you like them!

you can get the fronts for rsx so you can use the bigger tie rod ends and the backs ep3 so the mount fits in the trailing arm, thats what i did.

also the front arms are lower then stock and all bushing are spherical

When I picked up my 5 lug swap it came with the rear trailing arms so I plan to swap it all over and get dc5 spec since around here it would be easier to find a used set of dc5 spec coilovers.

These are actually pretty cheap... But i'm happy with my Megans for DD. If i tracked my car i think i'd get something else a little more high end though.

Even at list price they are fairly cheap, compared to a full blown track coilover like JRZ or something. I'll probably go with something like that on my GC8 when I start to build that. What do you think is high end?

JRZ's are pretty high end lol... I would deff spend the dough on a set of those if i had a strictly track whore.

JRZ, Ohlins, Moton, Penske. I'm sure there is a few more.

I'm interested to see how those work out fir you. Are they aluminum bodies or steel? Let us know how it works out.

This is funny to me. If you're looking to go low, then you might as well cut your springs for 20 bucks. But if you want a car that ride's well while being low, expect to pay a premium for it.

I'm waiting to see specs/reviews on the Buddy Club EVO for the DC5, those are twice what you're willing to pay for coils, and still a "budget" purchase when compared to a true racing suspension set-up

anything over 2500+ is pretty high end i think
1500-2500 good dd track coilover
below 1500, i wouldn't touch unless looking to slam

Would these be better than lets say KW v2? and or bilsteins with some custom springs
(talking dd track car here)
