I was wondering what you guys spent on your stereo system?

I was caculating my after all was done and it came out to about $550. Pioneer 4200, amp, front and rear speakers, small sub and what ever was needed to install.

total = way to much! over 14 grand but when i have kapton on my side it help out alot. so i didnt even pay close to half of that price. and i won a shit ton for tero comps so it payed for itself. it was in my explorer now its in my ep. and hant been to any comps with it. but i hve no subs and only the 1 amp in there.

The system costs a shit load if I were to actually pay for it, I worked part time for a buddy who owned a topend stereo/home theater shop doing installs and I was paid in credit, so whatever I wanted at his cost. Full A/D/S reference series amp and component speakers, Reference series Eclipse headunit, total retail was 4200$

Infinity Kappa Components, Free, were in the car when i bought it.

Total= $668. Not too shabby. The used subs and amps I bought work perfectly too and were in MINT condition. Should sound nice and clean when I get them all set up. Building a custom Fiberglass enclosure for them too. That should be free since I have a ton of glass, resin, and wood laying around my garage!

I got something like that, I just picked up a powered pioneer for $30. Haven't had a chance to put it in yet. My expectations are not to high but it should help to fill the low end void and keep my trunk space.
