Easiest way to remove control are ball joint bolt from control arm?
I tried heat mini sledge crow bar, I ripped the boot but the joint is still good for now.
I don't have the tool. How hard would it be to replace the ball joint?
Can I replace the boot?

I believe the ball joint has to be pressed in on these cars. when you replace it, you will have to bring it somewhere and have it pressed in. so you will have to pull the whole hub off anyways.

The knuckle has to be removed to replace the ball joint(there are very expennsive tools that allow the knuckle to stay installed(drive shafts have to be removed, there is no way around that)).

The proper tool is required to seperate the ball joint from the LCA, the forked ball joint spreaders can be used IF you plan on replacing the ball joint, it requires hitting the end of the fork, AND hitting the side of the LCA at the same exact time, not easily done on your own.
