Average K20a3 cost?

I'm looking at picking up a 02/03 EP3 with a bad rod bearing. For simplicity sake I'd like to jsut pull teh old K20a3 and drop in a replacement. Any idea what the average cost will be for a replacement K20a3?

If u wana make the trip u can come to Ct and pick up my a3. Its been sitting in my basement for a year now. It comes with crower stage 2 cams so it would cost a lil more than just a stock a3

Thanks guys for the ideas on where to look. I have a couple local on CL for 800-900, no tranny. This seemed kinda high to me, and based on the Z1 link @ 900, I'd have to say an a3 should be around 500-600 tops. Am I in the ball park?

I just checked Cincinnati's location based on my road trip... WOW. That's a ways off course. I'd have to work something out for a hotel on the way back that weekend. But it sounds perfect. Are busy most weekends?

not trying to thread jack but im looking for a a3 also and having no luck... i can either replace my head or get a low mile a3 :/ would wrather get the low mile a3 if i can find one for a good price
