Will it fit an Ep?

I NEED these to fit, so whatever it takes, fender rolling, stretched tired, etc., is it possible to fit, 17x9.5 offset -40?

you can get 17x9.5 to feet with stretch tires and fenfer pull... -40 offset on the other hand is way too much! there are some people on here with a 8.0 width that have 0 offset but that was pushing it already with a slight fender pull... -40 is gonna stick out a lot so you might have to do custom body work!

Yeah I hope you meant +40 not -40. And use a wheel offset calculator to see where that leaves you in comparison to 9 +38 because supposedly that's the highest offset you can run on a 9 wide before hitting the trailing arm. So if its lower then that, you're fine.

Given that you meant PLUS 40 you would need an 8mm spacer to clear suspension components.

Bro honestly dont do it no matter how much u like em it wont look good unless u get fender flares... 3 in of poke is way too much...

another option for these wheels is to do some custom work...if you really like them but the offset is just too much to handle, hopefully they are 3 piece or 2 piece and you can change the barrels/lips or flip the face to reverse the offset or if its 1 piece i think you can just cut the barrel and weld more onto it to make it wider and more positive offset

-40 is gunna be real bad on the hub. say goodbye to those studs. my fa had a -35 on "natural" camber and a stud snapped off. good luck with that haha

Dude I'm not being a dick. It is what it is. Cutting your fenders apart to fit ridiculously low offset wheels IS trying too hard. Period. Deep dish? You can get that style without cutting your resale value by 1/2, ruining your hubs, destroying tires, and looking stupid as hell. IMO you should not waste your time destroying your car over some trendy ass wheels that you WILL eventually get sick of.


What happens when you want wheels that fit? You'll look real cool with your custom fenders and body work. Hella sunk! LOL!
