Found a bunch of input of what the problem is, just wasn't able to find the steps to install. Any info would be appreciated.

That is a resistor pack, not a transistor, entirely different animals.

You need to aquire a Helms manual and the steps to replace the resistor pack are in there. It requires disassembly of alot of the dash to get to.
