So, I'm planning on doing the big three upgrade, that is, upgrade the stock wire to 0/1 gauge of three of the main electrical wires, alternator -> battery +, battery - to chassis, and engine block to chassis. I wouldn't mind making a DIY but i'm having trouble actually getting to the cable going from the battery to the alternator. it's quite a tight fit trying to get in there. any tips?

Its going to be tight getting in there unless you remove something like the Intake manifold or Bumper,Rad,A/C.

There was a good write up on this over on CRSX.com, if you want to poke around over there?

i think the diy you are talking about is http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=476823. problem is. he completely skipped over getting to the alternator to battery positive. -_-

The battery to chassis part is easy. If you plan on replacing the other grounds.. Make sure you get some small ring terminals if you plan on re-using the factory ground locations. Those bolts are much smaller than 5/8 and it will be a pain otherwise.
I don't see the point in doing the "alternator to battery" one and would recommend taking a Careful look at where that alternator wire actually goes in the EP ;)

yah, alt wire goes to the fuse box and goes thru the ELD (is ELD right or did i switch it around) then back to the battery.

for the upgrade, from alternator to battery usually its alternator -> inline fuse (prolly 250-300) -> battery. and it still helps. plus i have a bunch of extra 0/1 gauge wire from previous installs and whatnot so yeah.
