Dont know much about wheels and fitment :mcry:
what i do know is that these wheels do come in 4 lug

sizes available
*16x8.25
*17x8.25

Do they fit on our ep3's ?? These wheels look good on my opinion tell me what yall think?, i personally
would like to get a black set of these in 17" :mwink:

Extra wide wheel width and precise offset pairing allow for massive tire stretch fitment

damn thats the ricey-est thing i've read in while.

17x8.25 should fit as long as the offset is in the +35 range.

I saw these the other day. I don't get the sizes but yeah they'll fit and probably look sweet.
17x9.75 is too big

What offset and size do you want? Are you stretching tires? Negative camber? Need more info on what you want to do..

i would prefer going with 17" because i have a set proxes 4 - 215/45r/17 on my current enkei rs5 rims --which im planning on getting rid of for spring but wanna use the tires their still like new-- i would like to add some spacers if thats possible have it stick out just a lil bit..please emphasize on recomended offset and camber im clueless at this point =/ Thanks for the help

I don't know the offsets that are available for the wheels. 45 profile tires + low offset I'm assuming + spacers is going to be difficult

Whats with the 8.25 lol?? That's just such an odd number they made them in.. anyways i noticed that the 17x8.25's come in either a +25 or + 35. I would personally go with the +35's. They will be pretty darn flush to the fenders and might actually require a tad of camber. Also make sure you roll your rear fenders.

The 9.75 is even more strange lol

lmao idk these are made in odd numbers --which completly threw me off like if i knew what this meant to begin with lol but in learning process =)-- i like the wheels but now im debating on getting these from my observations these are clearly not the best wheels to go for when in mind this car is used for long rides 2+hr jersey trips on weekends *then again mainly all highway ride and its sometimes a DD --so im at a 50/50 decision --lets say i buy a good camber kit and decide going with the 17x8.25+35 no spacers riding on already installed konig coilover suspension will setup work?... Main concern is will i be able to have passengers including rear seats on occasional night out/ trip to the beach or is this plain out Hell No !!!! lol

Just a quickie comparison of the three available finishes in these rims.....

Looks like I'll be ordering me two 17x9.75" & two 17x8.25 rims come the end of summer.

I'm torn between the 527 in Chromium Black and the 522 in the same finish. I have a set of summer tires in my basement waiting for some wheels

Can't wait to see either one of these on an EP3. I should be deciding soon and ordering a set in a couple weeks.

Those are too concave. They look like a spider (with less legs lol) who is being sucked into a hole by the center and is holding onto the edges of the rim... Just sayin...

I like these wheels a lot. I was checkin them out last night. What fitment would be ideal on the ep3 with these and does anybody have pics?

I'm going for 17x8+35 on an HFP drop & 45 series tires.

Might have to roll the rears but that should do it with minimal camber in the rear.

To each their own. Thats whats great about style and opinions. I just feel that I see the same wheels all the time and want to break away with a design I personally like.

Doubt u will have to roll the rears on the hfp. Esp if ur on 215/45, the Drop isn't great enough.

ive been strongly considering these for the 240 at some point...i really want something with some spoke stretch...sure ive never had wheels with a huge lip, but theres something more aggressive about spoke stretch

Ive been doing some homework on wheels and I think I might try to fit these 17x9.75 +25 all around. The inner clearance of the wheel is the same as 17x9 +35 but the wheels will stick out 20mm more.

I've been researching these as well and i've decided im buying them next week (17x8.25 ET25). At this size it will give the same stance as a 17x9 ET35 (less wide obviously, but the outside measurements are the same as the mentioned wheel specs above)\

Through this research I have found out that the ET35 is not offered in the 4x100 bolt pattern.. These wheels are also unavailable as of right now on next level motoring and enjuku racing parts (their pre-order is finished and the first batch should be arriving soon , if not already arrived) and I was told by both of them that the ETA on next shipment to the states is unknown.

luckily in canada seems like i can grab a set from a local supplier for a little more $$

i dig both of those. i'd seriously consider the first ones if they came in white.

and hell yeah, ET25 is where it's at. they also offer zero offset. :mtongue:

looking forward to seeing how they look and fit.

i want to fit some 17x9s also just unsure on the fitment offset wise... :/

17x9 +38 should sit nice and flush without any poke.

this, but they'll sit 1" further inwards.
(this is 16x8 et0)
http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q11/ellerstein12/2005855488541734242_rs.jpg

if you want even less than that, keep adding to the offset (higher = pushed inside the fender).
but keep in mind, the higher offset you go on a 9" wheel, the less clearance you'll have between the strut and wheel. i forget what the highest offset you can run on a 9" is.

thats the fitment i want!
so would having less offset like a +25 mean less is inside the fender? i want to poke out not hit the inside rim on my trailing arms :/

btw can we get more pics of this car?
and suspension set up? tire / wheel specs?

:D

sportmax 002 - 16x8 et0 - 205/40/16 (i believe).
you can achieve the same fitment with a 17x9 et13 and prob a 215 or so. sidewall and width can depend on the brand of tire. sometimes people get a taller side wall with a narrow tire so that it'll stretch better.

i don't know any more specs on the car, i just found it by googling last week.
http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2367803
i didn't read through the entire thread, so maybe there is more info that i missed?

and to answer your question, yes, lowering the offset will push the wheel out, away from the suspension. a higher offset does just the opposite.

the white one with the poke goes like this:
17x8 et0 will look just like that, because it is an 8" wheel with 0 offset.
after calculating offset, these will all look the same from the outside:
7" et-13
7.5" et-6
8" et0
8.5" et6
9" et13
9.5" et19.

the difference is on the inside. however, with any of these sizes/offsets, you will be poking exactly like the white one posted up above. and if you're as low as that guy is, you're gonna have to run some stretched tires. if you're worried about that, then you can alway bump up the offset a few mm to push the wheel in. it's simple once you get a general idea and a starting point.

say instead of poking like the white EP, you want the wheels to sink in exactly 1". 1" = 25.4mm. instead of running 0 offset, you run +25. if you want 0.5" less poke, add 13mm (0.5"=12.7mm). it's really simple math, however, you have to keep in mind when to divide the number in half when adding/subtracting wheel width. lol.

you just posted it, +38 is the highest on a 9" wheel

lol, thats right. there should be a stickied thread with all this info.
