Planning on doin a head swap soon - been doing some research but now i wanna ask you fellow ephatch members with swaps. Which would be a better outcome for an All motor setup maybe JRSC in future..for now i would like to keep the a3 tranny and head swap which one to go for..my options buy a k20a2 head with 5k miles for $600 and jus straight swap or build my k24a1 w/bad vavles overall clean head??:hay:

If you're going with a blower I'd say upgrade the valve train in the A1 head. I'm pretty sure it flows just as well and the k20a2 head doesn't really do anything without a lot more modification.

actually, if you are going jrsc in the future, you will want to go with the a2 head. Fair warning, headswaps are a P.I.T.A. if you leave the motor in the car. I would sell your a1 head and use some of that money to track down a clean a1 bottom end.
