Engine swapping.

So my A3 died. Still running but stalls every time hits idle.

I was advised to get a k24a1? Cheapest and compatible with my tranny?

I havent seen any around however.
Neither have i seen any k20a2?

Only thing i have really found was k20a, Anywhere i can get this swap cheaper the $4700?

My K20A3 was doing the same thing as it runs but as soon as the rpm drops really low, it stalls...I had misfires on all 4 and random misfires also. Then I found out all it needed was another valve adjustment which it fixed the misfires and the low stall.

k24a1 is more torque for sure. i would recommend kpro without a doubt. find a local import junkyard that sells motors and see if they have a honda crv laying around. shouldnt be more than 700-800 bucks. I swapped a k24 in my ep 8 months ago and im enjoying it better than the a3.
