Hey all, Im new to the ep but def not to Hondas. My ep came with a torn shift boot and thats the first thing I replaced. I found a cheap one on ebay with red stitching for $18 shipped.

Its a universal boot, definately not specific for the ep. I had to trim about 3/4" off the bottom and cut some slits in it becuase the diameter of the boot is quite larger that the stock one.

Here is a pic of how it came out...

you have to take apart the factory boot, theres a black plastic peice that holds the rubber to the silver section...you glue the boot to the black plastic section. I have a red and black suede one from a seller called "top gaiters" on ebay..it looks pretty good. Use hot glue from a glue gun, its the easiest/it stays.

I didnt use any glue. The black ring snaps into the silver ring and i just sandwiched the boot between them. To keep the boot up on the knob and keeping a semi stock look I just jammed the top of the boot into the silver ring that snaps onto the knob. I thought about hot glue for the top of the boot to the sliver ring but it worked out just jamming it in there.
