so i was driving down a backroad out here in Va and a god damn deer decided he wanted to fuck up my car so he hopped out in front of me a did work on the front drivers side of my car.. it was pretty ironic kuz about 10 min b4 i was talkin to a buddy about how i wanna repace my hood and do some work to my bumper. god probly herd that n sent that deer to screw up my shit.. except now i need a new radiator, fender, hood, bumper, left light. ect.. anyways just thought id share my fun lil night with yall n see what you guys think! any help with putin my hatch back together would be very much appreciated kuz i am NOT gettin rid of this car. fuckin love my ep.. ahaha

I got insurance but i have a 1000$ deductable so its no use.. And the frame is bent slightly so this is gonna be a fun project.

No use? You will 100% get more then a 1,000 dollar quote at a body shop. Make a claim and get whatever you can from them. That's why we have insurance.

You need to price it out on your own first. Total loss is any repair damages over 70% of the total worth of the car. If a body shop says 2 grand, it is not getting totaled out, and you get a grand out of it. Unless your car has 700000000 miles on it and is in shit condition

I don't know about the laws in your state but here in Mass ,if the claim is over $2000 and there is no one for the insurance to go after they can surcharge you for a major accident. I'm sure it depends on your company/provider but ask them that if it's a large enough claim, are you immune from surcharges since youre "not at fault".

I think Karcepts and Hybrid Racing sell kits for like less than $200, but u have to remove the power steering. Always thought A3 came with Electronic PS so don't know how this would matter for the EP? Check them out or go to CoreSportUSA.com

I hit a baby deer about 4 months ago. didnt crack anything or damaged much. very little damage to anything but he sure did manage to knock all of the paint off the front bumper and cracked the grill. Mugen grill and jdm bumper now FTW. Sorry to hear about it man. Glad to hear your keeping it!
