The other day after work I had to go to town. literallly 15 minutes after turning the car off and coming in the house to change I'm mobile again. Turn the car on get and run back in. Car is running fine for now mind you. Get back in and get to the end of the block turn around and come home to get something else, leaving it run again. Get back in and head out get about 1/4 mile down the road and the car starts to sputter and stall. Turn the car back on and does it again. I realize that as long as the car is above around 1500 rpms it stays running and driving. But below that it sputters and stalls. Anyone have any ideas?

sounds like the IACV has siezed in a closed position, give it a good cleaning

and a good cleaning DOES NOT involve simply spraying carb cleaner, it entails removal of the TB and then removing the IACV from the TB and cleaning/soaking the IACV seperatly.

samething happened to me. i would just buy a new one because it is likely to happen again.

That's what I was thinking was the iacv. Or the coolant temp sensor. But I'll probably just replace or repair th tb completely.

Why replace the TB? If you do not want to mess around with cleaning the IACV, just replace it.
