So im in store for some rims and tire setup for this spring. I found a used set of rims but at the same time there are other setups which I could go for new. Anyways my choices are

USED SETS
16x8+32 (front) 225/50/16
16x7+35 (rear) 205/55/16
or
17x8+45 (225/45/17) all around

NEW SET
17x8+35 (235/40/17) all around
or
17x9+35 (front) 245/40/17
17x7.5/8+48/45(rear) 225/45/17

This is a dd/track friendly setup running -2 camber front and -1 camber rear
Tires will be dunlop star specs running either setup (225-245 front 205-225 rear) or ( 225 all around) 16's i would be limited to 225 front and 17 would enable be to run 245 front.

musty? :P

Basically with the rpf1 what would be most optimal setup to run on a ep3? Used obviously being cheaper than going brand new as listed above

Basically go EasyEP3 or Guardian Setup

I was also thinking I can grab the 17x8+45 I found used and run 225/45/17 all around (granted there will be no fitment issues, and then upgrade the front rim to 17x9+35 245/40/17 when need be?

16's are too small for the EP IMO.

17x8 +35 with a 235/40 or a 225/45

16 by 8 fronts and 15 by 7 rears. no reason to carry all that extra weight in the rear.

Why didn't you just ask this in the RPF1 crew thread???

Musty isn't a welcome member here, so he'll never see it here.
