I have an 02 and I really want to get a reverse staggered setup.

I was thinking along these lines:
Front:
Rota Torque 17x8 +35
245/40R17 tires
Rear
Rota Torque 17x7.5 +45
225/45R17

What do you guys think? Will I be rubbing in the front?

I am on Progress Springs and D-specs right now, but I am planning to changing my suspension setup to something higher maybe 1.5-1.0 drop.

245's on the front with a +35 offset....I think you'll be close to rubbing. I had 235/45/17's with 38mm offset on before I swapped to the Signal (JAS Italy/Tracy Sports) fenders and I was close.

But I think you'll be "OKAY". If I remember correctly, isn't 27rocks running that size on the front with 17x9 +35mm offset?

He is, but he also has 2.5 camber in the front... Would I also have to have that much camber?

Since he has 17x9 with same offset that means that his wheel sticks out 0.5 inch further right? So this setup would be 0.5 more inside I should be able to clear the fender.

However can I clear the suspension with 245 tires?

why?

just get 17x8 +35 all around and run 235/40/17 all around.

Correct!!

I'm actually running -3.2 in the front so i have more grip then the rear at higher cornering speeds. Also my rear is at -2.8. Tire wear is not bad at all as long as you get a good alignment. Remember that camber is not bad its the toe.

+1

If it's such a subtle stagger you might as well just get the same size tires that way you can rotate them.
But if you really want to stagger just get the 9's.. the 245's will sit better on the wheels and there is always room for 255's if you get that extra power.
