Megan Drift Spec Exhaust

I am looking into buying this exhaust for my ep, but wanted to get a little more information on it. Does anyone know if it replaces the cat converter? and if anyone has one or had one, can i get some reviews?

Its a CAT BACK exhaust. It does not replace the cat, it starts AFTER the cat.

And its a piece of shit.

First thing I did when I bought my car was I sold the Megan cat back and went back to stock. You will lose all the back pressure on a stock a3 which means no low end power. Sounds terrible at low end speeds (IMO) and drones like crazy when on the highway. Build quality I though was so-so, it is stainless, but flanges were already rusting after a year. I kept the Megan race header because I didn't have a replacement but it is corroded as all hell.

I've had mine for 2 years and for the price i really like it. Sounds deep and not ricey or raspy. It does drone bad though. Build quality is good except it hangs really low. Look in the exhaust thread there is a sound clip of mine! For the price you honestly can't beat it and i really dont feel that i lost much lowend.
