Hello all,

New to this site...

need some ideas for more power

is there any swaps that can be done that will allow me to keep the JRSC
I am also going to replace the transmission... was thinking 6 speed LSD

would the JRSC (Race) fit onto the k20, k20a2?...K24A2 with k20a2 head?

any response is much appreciated

Thank you

You can bolt that JRSC up to a K20A, K20A2, K20Z3, K24A2 (with some modifications), K24/K20 frank etc.

If I had it to do all over again I would probably stick with one of the 2.0L motors. The blower is too small for the 2.4L.

Rhcp0801 recently got tuned and while there there was an ep3 with the same motor as him (k24a2) with a jrsc making less power with similar mods to his. The blower isn't meant for the 2.4 as mentioned above

the charger's intake manifold will bolt up to a k24a2 but you have to tap the coolant port.

yea it fits but doesnt make any gains, he actually called jackson racing and they told him that charger is not meant for a k24 and wont make power. Kraftwerks on a k24a2 is the only way to go

I've always loved the thought of an a3 bottom with an a2 head on a jrsc. Also are you sure your sticking with your jrsc, because if you go turbo then it would be more plausible to use the 5 speed

That is......... Not entirely accurate. You will make more power with the JRSC on a K24A2 than on a stock K24A2. I made 283 whp with a stock bottom end K24A2, IPS Ksc cams, shorty header, high flow cat, and Borla exhaust. I sometimes wish I still had that setup.

What you have to watch out for is that a K24A2 with JRSC might make less power than a K20A2 with JRSC. Peak horsepower #'s anyway. But you also have to look at peak torque, and average torque. I've said that if I had it to do over again I would probably stick with a 2.0L block, but my car is a track car. For a DD I'd sacrifice some of the peak HP for the torque that a blown K24A2 gives you.

You can just give me your JRSC, I promise I won't say no.
