good gains, im debating whether to switch out my PRC for the RBC on my frank, i hear it only benefits if you are able to rev higher and if you have a 3" full exhaust, Im running w/o the type-s oil pump so im limiting my revs to 7100.

The RBC flows way too much for the A3, you will loose substantial low and mid range for only a gain of 1-2 whp up top, not worth all that work to be walked around town.

You can purchase a brand new RBC for 180$ from Honda, why pay 200$ for a used one????

a3 boosted you'll probably see significant gains with a proper tune.

boost is out of the question. maybe SC down the line.Talon- not quite sure how it flows too much.. in a sense isnt it kind of like putting the type s 3in intake on the a3 in stead of the Eps 2.5in intake? more air is good right?. and im sure i can talk the guy down to like 150 or so. im not doubting you completly. i kno you know your shit. maybe you understand what im trying to say though?

i definitely didnt think it would add that much but im very happy with it, my rev limit is set to 8000 and i do have a 3" exhaust

The air mass is moving too slow within the runners to properly fill the cylinders and when you stomp on the gas the engine starves for air. The intake mani runner size can not be compared to the intake pipe size at all. The camshafts are WAY too SMALL to use the RBC manifold, it is a downgrade unless you spend 99% of your time at 8K rpms or you add boost.

O.. well damn.I guess ill wait then. Thanks for the help..I don't remember seeing any posts in the search about why you can't use the rbc on a3. That's why I asked.
