The other night, A guy pulled up next to me revving his engine. He was in a late-model Eclipse. I had just put on my cold-air intake, (AEM) and was anxious to try it out. When the light turned green, the guy was in front of me through first and second gear. He must've hooked up his tires better than I did, but I was catching up. By third gear I was past the guy. At the next light, he told me it was a brand new Eclipse GTS with a 210 hp V6, but then I did some reasearch. I didn't realize that that car weighs 3241 Lbs. (from Mitsubishi's website.) That makes its power to weight ratio comparable to that of my car after the intake modification. So don't anyone shy away from taking on the Eclipse GTS. It weighs too much.:D

After installing my foglights, did I get the chance to see how the stock airbox is designed...
Bloody intake is u-turn from the front to the bottom of the airbox. Any idiotic without degree in dynamics can tell it is a stupid air restricting design!

Congratulations on your AEM CAI.... Good investment...IMHO.
