Suddenly I understand why your "Fuelly" says you get 23.5 mpg in a Civic.

get a better tune, you should be getting way better fuel economy

i plan on it but i cant find a local tuner that isnt a total rip off one guy around here wanted to charge me 900 for a tune
im not exactly made of cash

thats stupid...

by my calculations it shouldn't take 5hrs at $90/hr for rate and $90/hr for dyno time.

especially since you aren't turboed, or anything crazy anymore, just a simple i/h/e, that should take like an hour or two, so at most like $200-$400 for a tune.

if you cant afford a dynotune, at least get an etune from jeff evans or something...only cost $200 and you just send him datalogs, he modifies them and sends them back

http://www.evans-tuning.com/etuning.html

i got mine from him after my swap and before the dyno tune, car ran great but overall to get the most of the motor your gonna need a dynotune
