Yesterday I tried to remove the wheel, but I found that the steel rod comes with my EP3 dose not fit the nuts. size don't match. the nuts size is bigger. (not wheel lock, I mean the regular hex shape nuts) Maybe the previous owner used a different size nut.

So here just wanna know what's the standard nut size? (i believe there's a standard, because I can fit my wheel lock key to that stock steel rod and remove the wheel lock nut).

Also ,I noticed there're some rims have 5 nuts per wheel, however some others (including mine) has 4 per wheel. Does this differs by year or what? and is that mean i can only buy rims that with 4 holes?

the exact question was unclear for me so I'll just answer the part I know.

The 04-05 model ep3 came with 5 lug.
The 02-03 came 4 lug.
This DOES mean you can only run wheels with 4 lugs. 4x100 lug pattern to be exact.
BUT you can do a "5 lug conversion".
Involves changing the hub and other stuff allowing you to run 5 lug wheels properly, with-out those sketchball adapters.

A lot of people do a 5-lug conversion sourced from the RSX.

Also, the lug pattern for the 5-lug is 5x114, and the lug nut thread pitch is 12 x 1.5 for most Hondas including ours.
