I love my ep, but im kinda gettin sick of having 4x100 and no $ to swap to 5lug, buy wheels and buy winters too. Ive been looking for some new summers recently and everything I have found has been 5x114. I went to a used japanese parts shop today to look for some wheels, I walk in the door and I see 2 sets of Super Advans, a set of WedSports, DC5-R wheels, EK CTR wheels, RPF1s, and a few sets of old school Volks and Works. downside...ALL 5x114!!

I'm honestly debating if I'm gonna paint my CTR stuff or spend the $ to swap to 5lug so i can get some decent wheels.

nah, he should totally spend rims that're 1/4 of the cost of his 9 year old ep, whether he can afford it or not

you get bigger brakes with the rsx-s 5 lug swap! id say that's a bonus.

yeah for sure...I don't think i would ever buy hella baller status wheels...as much as they do appeal to me...not worth it! Rotas will do.

Type s brakes are the exact same as ctr brakes fyi...only difference is the front calipers don't have a raised type r in the casting

I can do this at work lol. We got a Class 5 laser etcher that can emboss and create raised lettering. I just need to find a "Type R" logo to load into the software and soon I'll be etching my Type S calipers.

I wouldn't do that because you don't know how thick the wall is on the casting, and through the act of etching you'll work harden the caliper, possibly making it more brittle...plus the type r would be raised not etched...just buy type r calipers
