Would this be possible? I'm looking at a set from an 2008 fd2 type r. I'm wondering what would be needed to make them fit. Comes with factory rails

i'm not sure if you can do this.. but i'm just guessing. you can try to use the factory rails and sliders and get the brackets custom made (if there are any shops around you). i would suggest finding a shop and asking them about it, i'm sure they can help you get them in! if there's a will, there's a way.

and if you're located in so cal you can go to wedge engineering in long beach. they fab brackets, super good!

only one bolt fits up, the srs connectors are different also. i haven't tried to wire them up, as i got the chassis side connectors from the FD2 also.

like i've said earlier i think they are much more comfortable and flow better with our interior.

you can drill the new holes in the seat rails. but its really thick. i had to use a step drill to get it. and the seat belts should still work with it too.

if you need pics of anything let me know, i'll post em up.

EDIT: didn't realize you said type r, but it should still bolt up the same.

I doubt I would even hook up the srs connectors. I am currently using spearco belts, but I 'm planning on switching those out soon. Yeah, they are some sexy biotches. :giggidy: Honestly, any pictures would help so that i can see what all is required to change.

its pretty straight forward, throw the seats in, bolt the innner front bolt down, mark the other legs, pull it back out and start drilling! use oil on the drill bit cause these rails are no joke.

The latter are my favorite seats for OEM honda.
