My primary 02 Sensor is dead. I have a 06 K24a2 in my 05 EP3. Wondering if I should buy another stock EP3 02 Sensor or buy a 06 TSX 02 sensor? If I buy the 06 K24A2 sensor do I need to get it re-tune?

I haven't look for the 06 K24A2 02 Sensor, I don't know how much they are. I found the Denso 234-9005 Oxygen Sensor for $110 for the 05 EP3.

you use the oem ep3 sensor, be careful about denso some say they dont work and just end up buying an oem sensor, they cost more money but at least you know it will be the right one and shut the check engine light off. Save money in the long run

I thought Denso was the OEM O2 sensor for our cars?

I bought mine last year and it worked great, but cost me $150, where did you find it for $110?!?!

The Denso 234-9005 Oxygen Sensor for $110 is on Amazon. According to the books it's not for the EP3, but I read on a few forums that it works for the EP3.

When I went to Advance Auto Parts I asked to look up both 02-04 Type S and 02-05 EP3 sensors and they had different part numbers but they were both the same plug.

Ok, installed the Denso 234-9005 instead of the recommended 234-9004. The power doesn't feel the same. At first I thought it was just me or the wealther that particular day. Drove it around for a few days then swap it with my other EP3 (stock k20a3) which has the Denso 234-9004. Car feels alot better with the Denso 234-9004. Maybe its my tune, it was tune with 234-9004.

So if you have a K24a2 tuned with Denso 234-9004, THEN BUY THE 234-9004 !!!

When I put the Denso 234-9005 on the stock k20a3 car runs fine.

Dont get the stock ep3 sensor, it is narrowband. Get the rsx type s sensor, it is a wideband. I used an oem sensor

if i get a wideband gauge, like an AEM or autometer ($200+), do they come with a replacement o2 that will work with our cars? or what?

nvm it comes with a Bosch LSU4.2. this sensor does not work, correct?
