Rear lip issue

I pruchased a rear lip without reading carefully that it is for JDM and EDM
rear bumpers, so now im stuck with it, all sales final. DOH!
Im a DIY kind of a guy, I have some ideas on how to make it fit but i would
like to get input form you guys. Heres a few pics of the issue, it fits well in the rear,
but the sides are too short.

nice lip, what brand is it?

Only thing you could do is cut it and reglass it if its fiberglass to make it fit.

Or sell it and get a rear lip ment for the bulky usdm bumpers.

It's a no name brand off eBay, it's fiberglass. I was thinking about cutting it on the sides and adding a few inches.
Not really sure how I would go by doing that, ive worked with fiberglass to patch things, but never like this.

you should try selling it and just gettin the correct one for the usdm bumper. i believe that lip you bought cost about $160 + $70 for shipping. you could've gotten a ctr rep usdm lip from show stoppers for $150-$175 shipped
