Wingless EP3s? Yay, Nay, Meh?

Do you think EP3s can and do look good being wingless? Does the car look more "egg" like without the wing? Whats your pick from the following options?

A. Wingless

B. Type R/replica wing

C. Mugen/replica wing

D. Buddy Club wing

*For me, i always thought the EP needed a wing...now its starting to look fine to me without the spoiler.

DAMN! That mugen wing looks KILLER on red. I guess I never stumbled into your members ride, it's damn sexy. If you don't mind my asking, how much was a full re-paint? Just exterior?

Get a mugen rear wing, it will compliment the rear end very well

they were made for subies...the rallyarmor ones. I got it off another ephatcher...and made some more holes cause the way he had it they were WAY out passed my fenders to a point where it looked weird

Mugen rep -- Although I did (still do) notice a huge difference in how the car wants to drift in one direction or another a lot more compared to stock/wingless with high winds or if Im around a fleet of tractor trailers

I think the CTR or HFP wings make our cars look great.
Without it, it makes the car's shape look a bit awkward.
And If you want a more aggressive look, I do like the Mugen wing.
The other wings out there I do not like.

I prefer my authentic type r wing, the fit and finish on the 3rd brake light is nice, and it was designed nicely with the roof surface. I think it extends the roofline nicely and helps the car look lower and longer, and less plump as a whole. Plus the shape in side view plays off nicely with the shape of the c-pillar.

the mugen is cool, but unless you have a decent sized front lip, like a mugen or airwalker, the wing stands out too much and unbalances the look of the car...

The stock small wing works great in the right context. If the body is stock usdm and lowered, I think having the stock small wing gives it a nice bulldog look. I've seen it done where it looks good.

Here is my view on the wings:

1. CTR/CTR style rep: Looks clean and simple, distinct enough to be noticed but not overtop. Complements the body/rooflines to a T.

2. Mugen/Mugen stye rep: Looks good but a little over the top for my taste, great for those who want a prominent wing that really sticks out. (no pun intended)

3. Buddy Club wing: Looks like a CTR wing with Batman esque flair...I can dig it.

Like I said, I havent been wingless since the 2nd days I have my ep3 cuz I go straight to West Wing spoiler then CF Mugen.

thanks man! the full repaint only cost me 1500 out of my pocket, a freind backed up into the entire left side of the car, causing 3000$ in damage,

I'd prefer a CTR wing, but I've got Wes' old Mugen. If my car were any color but NHBP, I'd have the center section black with body-color end caps.

I wish there were a duckbill like that EG's, but more flipped up than that custom one pictured. I can appreciate the work that went into that one, but I never liked the look.

I think it depends on the color personally, I think white or black can pull it off, maybe blue but idk about the others. In my honest opinion yours looks clean and i think it would look really good if you took the rear wiper off with no wing! :D

that angle actually looks okay since you can't see the full extension of the wing. i'm dropped like 1.5" on stock wing and i think it looks alright. i would much rather have an HFP or mugen wing though haha

I think an ep3 could look good without a wing. Looks smaller and slimmer. But it's not easy to do. And car needs to be lowered. That said I'll be buying a bigger wing sometime soon as I still have the stock and it's not really possible to remove the stock without fab as it leaves holes in the roof
