Trunk Leak from a very bizarre location...

Ok so i noticed that some stuff in my trunk was getting wet ojn the right hand side... the carpet was a little wet there too however, no puddle in the spare tire well. So the leak isn't huge.

Open my trunk this morning (rained all night) to this

Hmmm, that could be a sunroof drain, hatch seal, or an improperly sealed rear side window. You will need to remove the interior panel to get at whatever has created the leak. Pull your spare tire and make sure there is no corrosion or water down there, it will take a VERY short time to rot the living "F" out of the spare tire well! I have looked at mine and swore there was no water intrusion, but after removing the spare and looking closely the beginning of the damage was apparant, I waited only a few weeks to address the leak and found this......

what was the cause of your leak if you don't mind me asking?

Mine was due to the rear strut "O" rings leaking(common with lowered suspensions).
