I'm getting mixed feedback on where to mount the IAT sensor,
where exactly would be the best place to mount it? Right before the TB on the IC piping?
and if that would be the best place would a grommet and some sealant be good enough to hold boost?
The Greddy kit holds the IAT sensor with pretty much just a grommet..

Thanks

Locash sells a clampy thingy for the K series IAT but I also heard you should be able to just wire in a standard 2 bolt B series IAT sensor also. I'm sure on the charge pipe would be fine.

It should be right before the throttle body, so that it is reading the temperature right before it goes into the engine.

The clampy thingy is best, but before I got one of those welded into my charge piping, I poked a hole in a silicone coupler and used zip ties to hold the sensor in. This worked fine when I did a 15 psi leak test, and I ran 9 psi like that for several months.
