ELD issues. PLease help.

ELD code p1298 has popped up along with p1259 and p1167

p1259 = vtec malfunction
p1167 = o2 sensor

can the eld cause problems to make these other 2 codes pop up?

If the o2 sensor shorts out it can take the ELD out as well. replace the o2 sensor, reset the ECU and see if the ELD pops up again.

well the eld has been popping up for over a year now. so i know for the sure eld was acting up before the o2 sensor and vtec codes popped up. ive noticed no difference until now. im throwing the p1259 and p1167 is there a chance that my eld finally is toasted, and is causing the other problmes?

I made a How-To replace an ELD in the How-To sectionand I think it is stickied. You should do this first its like 30$ lol As for the rest I ran with the p1298 for over a year too and never had problems or other codes.

holy tits! I replaced it and everything somehow feel like its running smoother. Lights look brighter and my car starts like its super healthy
