Ok, so i just replaced my donought gasket from header to cat, hoping that it would solve my issue of getting exhaust fumes in the cabin. After i replaced it, i can still smell it, just not as much.

Could my DC shorty header be cracked? What are some visual signs of it leaking or cracked?

I was in the same boat, and I did have a crack. Brought it to a shop and they welded it closed for $30. Don't mess around with exhaust leaks, get'em fixed right away.
