Im new to this whole thing so bear with me. Im learnin all this stuff as i go. When I bought my car it was tucked. so i bought the eibach pro kit n swapped the springs. but when it was apart i noticed i could push in the shock with just my hands and not alot of body weight. Is this normal? and should the shocks for our car decompress automatically? and how fast should this happen?
I need to know if i need new struts. HELP!!

Good shocks should not decompress that easy. There should be quite a bit of resistance but you would still be able to push it down using your body weight. As you let the shock go it should return back to normal height. It does sound as if your shocks are blown though....

But no, seriously.

How fast should it take them to return to norm height. After its pushed down, it takes a pretty long time for it to come all the way back up. is there any other way I could test it?

It is on it's way out, it should take almost your entire weight to compress the strut and it should come back up fairly quickly.
