Being a school student and all, I cant really afford any good mods. So, I have just deal with what I can get.
What I am wondering is what are the best tires ya'll have had on your cars. What is a tire that gives a good balance of grip, but will also last awhile? I know that it's hard to get both at the same time. But, like I said, is there anything ya'll can recommend for a good balance?

on my stock 15"s i got bridgestone potenza grids(g019) they grip pretty awesome and have a 100 000km life depending on how you drive i guess, they cost me under 500 from costco

The Falken 912's have been good to me
They aren't that grippy in my opinion, but they last a long time and are really affordable.

Just go on tire rack and read the reviews. You will get more info there. Or just look up what tires came stock on the ep

It's really hard to find a good tire for a good price apparently. I dont need tires YET. But when I do, I will probably only be able to spend about $250-$300 installed. Doesnt leave me with a lot of room, you know?

I have those too and my only complaint for a dd tire is tread squirm & sidewall flex. Granted I may be pushing em harder then I should...

Expect to pay around $100 per tire for a decent set. Also, will you ever need to drive in the snow/ice with them? If not, then go with Summer tires over All seasons. You'll have better grip overall in both wet and dry conditions.
