The cylinders on the k20 in my 2005 si are damaged, and I did a compression test and the 4th cylinder had zero compression. So, I have to do an engine rebuild. Today when I was on craigslist I saw an Acura Long Block k24a1 engine for $750. Would this be a better and faster alternative to rebuilding an engine, and would it bolt right into a 2005 si? Also, how would it do performance wise with this engine? Sorry I'm a newb.

I'm not sure which k24's are compatible, but from what i read you can expect more torque and around the same horse power as your stock power plant.
