I'm having a problem finding an adapter that will thread into the block where I took out the oil pressure sensor. I tried taking that sensor into a hose-piping shop but they cant find anything to match it... the adapter I have would only thread in about 2 turns and get tight, I dont want to force it and damage the block.

I know this is the common place to tap into the oil feed for the turbo, so I know theres a way to do it. Does anyone know what the thread and pitch is?? Please help ephatch!

I'll get some pics to show what Im talking about if there is confusion

It is a 1/8" BSPT thread. It is not metric and nor is it SAE standard, it is an oddball British thread.......There are several companies that are putting out adaptors but are hard to find, they are not available at any hardware store. Some people have used 1/8" NPT fittings, but they leak, damage the threads and could very easily crack the block. By far the easiest solution would be a oil filter sandwich adaptor.

Yea the oil line supply shop was finally able to find one of those BSPT, and they got the fitting to work. It was just a pain to keep having to go back because the fittings weren't right. Thanks Talon
